Pablo Came to Visit

He showed up uninvited, the way dogs like Pablo always do, trailing an orange crown of a bark and a couple of stars still shaking off the walk over. He knocked over the candy dish, sniffed the chimney, and parked himself by the door like he'd always lived there. By the time the pink haze settled in, the room wasn't quite the same, brighter, stranger, and a little more crowded, in the best way.
