Garden Fiesta

The whole garden showed up uninvited and never left. A yellow sunflower crashed the party first, dripping paint down like it had already had a drink. A polka dot bloom arrived next, dark and moody, next to a scribbled blue one that couldn't stop spinning in circles. A lime green star flower shot up out of nowhere on a long black stem, stealing the spotlight before a shaggy burgundy bloom leaned in to steal it back. By the time the little blue eye peeked out from the corner, watching it all unfold, the garden had stopped being a garden and turned into a party nobody wanted to leave.
